Just to recap.
Last week . . .
On Monday, Scrappy hopped into Moo’s powerchair, running on full speed into the wall where he of course, left his mark.
Tuesday, he decided to flood the bathroom by sticking toilet paper in the drains.
Thursday, Scrappy tipped out all the toys boxes.
And Friday, he decided to wash down the carport. Including the electric garage opener. Unbeknownst to me, I hit the button to open the door only for the motor to sizzle and burn out.
Today, we were fishing and Scrappy put down the rod on the pontoon to go and do something else. Just as he put it down, a fish took the bait and the rod went straight off the edge of the pontoon into the water. I’m waiting for the tide to get low enough so that I can hopefully go back and retrieve it (don’t tell Master C – it was his rod).
My plan is to save all the invoices to repair everything so that when he grows up and asks me why there isn’t any inheritance, I can show them to him.

HA HA HA I love that idea. Sounds like he is a wonderful handful!

I’ve read this a few times, because the scale of disaster is so comedic I had trouble believing it. Which is proof that I am the parent in a single-child family really, isn’t it.
I think you should spend a spot of the inheritance on a good bottle of whisky and keep the receipt for that to show them as well.

Oh, believe it Pen. He is a gorgeous child who I am sure does not really mean to be naughty, he just cannot help himself. He is not really a player of toys, rather a tinkerer who has to check out how everything works. And he just loves hoses and playing with water.

Curiousity and wanting to know how things work – a very dangerous combination in a small child. It’s the same urge that destroyed your garage and led Newton to figure out that whole gravity thing.
